Ada is located in Kent County MI and is part of the Forest Hills School District.

Ada township has a population of over 13,000 people.  It is also home of Alticor and its subsidiary companies Quixtar and Amway.

Located near where the Thornapple River meets the Grand River, downtown Ada is picturesque and beautiful in every season with plenty to do and see including downtown dining and shopping.  Throughout the township of Ada, there are numerous nature and biking trails. Amway World Headquarters has a welcome center with many exhibits and videos.  From June to August local musicians perform outdoors at Ada’s Music on the lawn series on Tuesday nights.  Check out the Ada Covered bridge which is a 125 foot truss bridge erected in 1867. The Ada Famers Market is also open on Tuesdays from summer to fall. Check out the 240 nature preserve Roselle Park which has walking trails along a wetlands area near the Grand River.  Ada Township Park is also a great park to visit with a walking trail, 50+ tree species in the E.E Locke Arboretum, and traditional park activities.
